Registration opens on January 1, 2023!
TENOR BOSTON 2023 will take place in a hybrid format (i.e., both in-person and remote). All registration includes morning/afternoon coffee and tea, and lunch will also be provided.
Welcome to the 8th International Conference on Technologies for Music Notation and Representation in Boston, Massachusetts, USA! TENOR 2023 in BOSTON is hosted by the Music Department at Northeastern University, the Longy School of Music of Bard College, and the New England Conservatory.
Our conference has a theme of “Representation and Perception of Music Structure,” and will be held from Monday, May 15 to Wednesday, May 17, 2023.
Registration fees are as follows:
Early Bird: Full (before April 15, 2023): | $150 |
Full (after April 15, 2023): | $200 |
Full Student / Independent Artist: | $50 |
One Day: | $75 |
Remote Participation: | $100 |
Remote Participation (Full Student / Independent Artist) | $50 |
TENOR 2023 is using EasyChair to handle registration for the conference. Fees will be waived for all students and faculty of Northeastern University, the Longy School of Music of Bard College, and the New England Conservatory; however, registration is still required.

Full Registration (before April 15, 2023) is: $150. Students and independent artists: $50. Remote participation: $100. Full registration includes morning and afternoon coffee, tea, snacks; lunch will also be provided; and offers access to all papers, demos, workshops, and concerts.
